Orders are received through mail, phone, fax or e-mail. Our new hassle free credit card authorization software allows us to handle your fulfillment project conveniently from start to finish. Our standard turnaround is within 24-48 hours. Rush orders are routinely handled on a same day or within-the-hour basis. The first steps involves assisting the client to establish ordering procedure and helping them designate a personal post office box, fax or phone number to direct their request. Our next step is to capture date of order, order request, ship-to information, item numbers, item descriptions and item quantities. Further, the orders are screened and prioritized before being released to the Warehouse Manager and are finally designated to Client Fulfillment Specialist for pick-up.
Special projects or distributions may be individually quoted and executed based on client’s requirements and the allotted time frame. PMI generally works on a "reverse-time-line". The client chooses the method of arrival and we suggest the method of shipping, number of people required to assemble and deliver the project on-time and at maximum cost efficiency. We can transfer surplus to inventory or deliver it back to client’s office.
The USPS picks up our first class mail daily. Our on-line partnership with United Parcel Service (UPS) and Federal Express (Fed Ex) enables us to provide you with billing inquiries, immediate tracking, and signature receipt. Each package and penny of freight cost is tracked, accounted for and reported to the client. PMI also provides fleet of trucks and vans for local pickup and delivery of materials.
Returns are segregated and processed according to client’s guidelines which include return to stock, reconditioning or scrapping. Return paperwork, correspondence, item description and disposition are generally forwarded to the client. Our data processing and inventory control systems offers order editing, inventory checks and balances, minimum reorder points and usage retention guidelines. PMI performs monthly inventory count to maintain system integrity.
